Confidential Private Gold is Lattafa's fruity-chypre showpiece, and the home version comes as a 450 ml trigger spray rather than an aerosol — so you can mist curtains, sofas, cushions and bed linen directly as well as the air. It is unapologetically juicy up front: ripe peach and pear with passionfruit, raspberry and a tart blackcurrant edge. A single clean floral note, lily of the valley, sits in the middle, and then the whole thing sinks into sandalwood, patchouli, musk and vanilla with a powdery heliotrope finish — which is what stops it smelling like a fruit candle and makes it read as a perfume. Best for living rooms, bedrooms and soft furnishings; a strong gift listing, because the gold carton presents well.
